Get Involved

Work Parties are normally held on the last Tuesday of the month. Management of the Reserve is now in a maintenance phase and tasks undertaken range from fence and boardwalk repairs, gorse cutting, woodland management, ditch clearance, ongoing pulling pine and spraying birch saplings etc.

These parties normally start at 10.00am until 1.00pm and an email from the Countryside Ranger lets you know what is to be tackled. There is no pressure to attend or to let people know you are not coming. Everybody welcome, so by contacting us via the Get Involved page your email address will join the list of volunteers.
